Full Wrap and 3/4 Kits
Our full wrap kits include printed panels to cover all of the body work including a solo tail cowl cover. Each kit will be 9-12 pieces when cut out specifically for your bike model with 4-10" inches overlap to wrap around to the back side of your bikes body work. The base color of your bike DOES NOT have to be a specific color because all of the body work is covered with the wrap material.
Our new 3/4 kits are set up for either black or white bikes and do not include material for the top of the tank, the top of the tail, or the upper fairing (wind screen fairing). These save material costs if your bike is already painted white or black by reducing the total amount needed to print and also reducing install time by having less printed panels to install. These kit options are so popular because so many bikes are painted either all black or white, making it easy to color match and blend a design into your existing body color!
Our Custom Fit
Each Bikeskinz wrap is custom fitted to your specific bike. The designers as Bikeskinz have taken special measures to develop over 100 templates for both foreign and domestic sportbikes. These ensure that crucial elements of the design are not cut off or obstructed by air ducts. You'll get optimal placement of key elements of the design set up custom for your particular make and model.
Your wrap kit will arrive in panels laid out with guide lines for you to cut out of a giant roll. Each one of these panels cover a specific areas of your bike's body work with 4-8" of overlap. This overlap allows for some margin of error but also ensures a professional edge by being able to wrap around to the back side of the panel. This also adds and extra layer of security in resisting edges being peeled off during exposure to the elements and pressure washing.
Just Stretch It and Stick it!
Bikeskinz are printed on Avery MPI 1105 SuperCast with Avery DOL 13060Z Gloss Laminate (or matte with special request). This special wrap material is the latest in the industry and specially designed to conform with tight curves, indentions and contours.
MPI 1105 is engineered for the installer. Traditionally working with sharp indentions like most sportbikes have proved to be a pain. Now both professionals and novices can easily stretch and press the wrap into shapes on the sportbike's body work with a lack of "memory" (a tendency for the material to pull back into its original flat plane). As an added bonus you can however "heal" like other Avery cast films prior to being fully squeegeed and adhered. Just apply a little heat to return it back to its original flat state for areas that have been stretched too far.
Another great feature of SuperCast is you'll love the ability to lift and reapply with ease. As long as the product is not fully adhered and squeegeed to the body panel you'll be able to lift with less effort than most adhesives on the market.
Avery DOL 13060Z laminate offers a quality gloss that has been compared to paint. This laminate is the best in combination with being super thin for easy installs while still providing excellent protection from the elements and UV rays to resist fading.
Warranty Information
Our wraps are warranted with Avery's 4 year warranty that covers against fading/peeling when applied using their guidelines by an Avery certified installer.
